INTERNSHIPS & APPRENTICESHIPS
Rigorous summer and semester Internships are available for select students or recent graduates from any country in the world with commitment, drive and proven skills in the specific areas listed below.
The unique internship program at Grungras Consultancy offers a rare combination of hands-on and theoretical skills in migration and refugee law and protection, along with pinpointed practical career guidance. Our alumni complete their internship more skilled, savvy and self-assured about their career choices.
The application process is highly competitive. We accept only the most committed and serious students to participate each year. Applicants are advised that performance expectations are extremely high.
The program is open to interns from any country and from a variety of disciplines. We work closely with university internship program offices to set and meet your school’s academic requirements. Grungras Consultancy meets and exceeds American Bar Association requirements for supervision of legal interns. Except where otherwise indicated, the internship may be performed completely remotely (i.e. the work may be done anywhere, and there is no need for the intern to relocate or travel).

PROJECTS
Internship and apprenticeship projects in 2025 will include:
- Developing migration questionnaires
- Research & describing developments in government migration policies
- Finding or sourcing citations for upcoming publications
- Creating innovative graphics to reflect statistics and social phenomena
- Creating an information database for online searches
- Formulating journalistic-style interview questions
- Creating informational videos and writings
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants must possess/present the following:
- Native-level written English
- Excellent academic track record
- Ability and willingness to work independently
- Excellent non-fiction writing skills
- Analytical thinking
- Two references
